The Power of the Planner: Why Organization Matters on Campus
Write it down immediately. When a teacher announces an assignment or test date, record it right away—don't trust yourself to remember later.
Check it daily. Spend two minutes each morning and afternoon reviewing what's ahead. This simple habit keeps surprises to a minimum.
Use it for everything. Track homework, project milestones, club meetings, sports practices, and personal goals. Your planner is your command center.
Color-code if it helps. Some students use different colors for different subjects or priority levels. Find a system that makes sense to you.

Safety Harbor Middle School Principal Alvaro took to the mound at TD Ballpark recently, throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at a Dunedin Blue Jays game in a special fundraising event that benefited the school.
The exciting evening brought together students, families, and community members in support of Safety Harbor Middle School. The fundraiser, held in partnership with the Dunedin Blue Jays, provided a memorable experience for attendees while raising important funds for school programs and resources.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will go directly toward enhancing educational opportunities and resources for Safety Harbor Middle School students. The school community looks forward to continuing partnerships that strengthen the connection between local organizations and education.
