Please staple proof of the following documents and turn into ONLY the 8th grade office before the specified paperwork due date.

All students must sign up for tryouts in the cafeteria at least one week prior to the tryout date to ensure they have been cleared to participate. This requirement applies to all student-athletes, including those who have recently submitted athletic paperwork and those who were previously cleared during the 2026–2027 school year.

The entire checklist of forms below needs to be completed in order to participate in tryouts.

All paperwork must be stapled together and turned in at the same time. No electronic paperwork will be accepted.

Paperwork is valid 365 days from the date issued.

 

Disclaimer for students who make a team:

  • Pinellas County Schools (PCS) Athletic Activity Fee: All students selected for a PCS athletic team are required to pay a $50.00 athletic activity fee per sport. The maximum PCS athletic activity fee is $200.00 per family. Additional information regarding payment procedures and deadlines will be provided to students and families after team selections have been finalized.
  • ·Safety Harbor Middle IB World School is in a competitive league and playing time for all sports is not guaranteed. It is left to the coach’s discretion based on practice and game performance as to how much playing time is garnered by your child.
  • The county does not provide buses for away games and all schools rely on parent volunteers for transporting players to away game sites.

In addition to the tryout paperwork a Uniform Agreement is to be completed by Student and Parents.
