Parent Volunteer Driver Information

Safety Harbor Middle IB World School relies on parent volunteers to transport student-athletes to away games, as the county does not provide buses for these events. All parent drivers must complete Level II screening (fingerprinting and background check through a third party, taking approximately three weeks) and have proper vehicle insurance coverage on file with the school office. Volunteer and driving forms are available in the front office, and drivers must also provide a current copy of their driver's license and vehicle insurance (typically updated every six months). If you plan to drive for early-season sports like volleyball, consider completing your Level II screening before the school year begins—note that these requirements do not apply when driving only your own child. The cost of Level II screening is paid by the volunteer and can be completed at any school site when offered or at EZ Fingerprints in Clearwater.
